I realized the other day that it’s been a while since I’ve been to the dentist, and also that I really should take the munchkin to the dentist soon. It has been recommended by the pediatrician that we should take him and she did give us a list of places that take his health insurance, but I lost the list and need to get it again so I can actually call the places.
I worry for his teeth because much as I hate to admit to the stereotype about Brits I have horrible teeth and there’s a good chance that he will have inherited that. I had to have braces when I was in high school and I really disliked that. On the upside now they have Orange NJ invisalign which they didn’t have when I was having braces. I had the full train tracks at one point, got called “Jaws” by kids in high school, and generally felt very self-conscious. So, if he does have to have brace work once he gets his adult teeth in at least he won’t have to deal with that sort of thing.
