Health Again

I’m having another one of those times where I’m feeling sorry for myself with regards health. So, I thought writing out some of the things I’ve done might stop me from feeling the need to read diet pill reviews and contemplate ordering some and taking an unnecessary and risky short cut.

I’ve lost 10 pounds since I started the diet and exercise in earnest. I’ve still been eating things I like such as chocolate and brownies, but not to excess. I’ll have a drink every once in a while, but overall I’m making good progress with the life style changes, and that’s what counts. Slow and steady is better overall and is more likely to stick instead of making me yo-yo.

I’m just annoyed that I can’t do exercise today. My legs are so freaking sore I can barely walk across the room. Hopefully tomorrow morning that will be better. The past couple of days I walked about 3/4 of a mile around my neighborhood early in the morning, so I suppose it’s okay for me to have a day off, and later on today we’ll be helping Roomie move furniture around so that’ll be some good exercise too, and it’ll be easy to take breaks in the middle of it.
