Daily Grind

July 26th, 2008

I’m having a hard time waking up this morning, although the “task” of making chocolate truffles is helping out with that. We’re having a joint birthday celebration today, my friend’s birthday was last Sunday and mine is next Wednesday so we’re having a party for both of us.
It works only one set of cake, my waistline doesn’t need any more cake really.
I doubt I’m getting any Vegas vacations, but our friens always manage to sort out a fun time when we all get together for things like this. Good food. Good company. We may break out the Wii and play Mario Party or Wii Sports or something like that, or we’ll cobble together something D&D or WhiteWolf related and play that.
I was hoping to get the fire pit going and make some smores again, but I don’t think we have any dry wood.

Ah, well…maybe we can make smores over a candle.

    LOL. Cool! Although I think we have quite a few already. Plus we may be chocolated out by the truffles, they are pretty rich, and your pie LOL.

    “chocolated out”? What is this “chocolated out” you speak of? Could there ever be such a thing as too much chocolate? NEVER!! ….until my tummy starts hurting… ^^;

    LOL. This is very true.
    Although you never know. I have taken over “cake duty” and A&S will be bringing soda and snacks ^_^
    Triple Chocolate Fudge Marble Cake here we come!

    You can make smores pretty easily in the toaster oven…it’s not as fun, but if you toast the graham crackers and marshmallows and then slap some chocolate in there, it’s just like the real thing!

    Ah, to have a toaster oven, unfortunately we don’t. Maybe it would work in the actual oven on a low enough heat.
