Definitely not happening…
June 25th, 2008I was hoping that with the shower stopping I might get out and do the paint, but when I went outside it was rumbling and when I went out to look at the street this is what greeted me:

So…not so much with the painting today. Oh, well, instead of wasting the time I’ve caught up on stuff here, and also done some cleaning around the house. Hopefully the power doesn’t go out.

What a gorgeous day! We’ve been having a ton of storms lately, and it’s blowing my mind because I grew up in a mild climate that very seldom had thunderstorms, and never in the summer. It’s weird and trippy and cool.

I hear you. I grew up in England where even the thunderstorms were half-hearted. The first storm I experienced here in Florida I freaked out it was so loud and the power kept going on and off…I’m a bit better now, but they still scare me some times.
