I’ve not really gone as far as I’d like with exercise even with hubbie on days now. We’ve been adjusting to the switch and it’s not been so good for us. I don’t know if it’s the adjustment because I thought we’d gotten things settled by the end of last week, but then things have been messed up again this week. I think part of it is problems I’ve been having with medications I’m not sure what’s going on there really, but will be discussing it with therapists and the like by the end of the week…or if there’s something else going on.
I’ve been limited to doing stretching and limbering up exercises because anything more strenuous does a number on my legs and knees, it’s very frustrating, to say the least. I’d like to be able to invest in something to help out with exercising like an treadmill or something else, even an exercise bike I was pricing those at Walmart yesterday…but I daren’t consider investing the money in it if I’m not going to be able to use it for more than a couple of days it’s not worth the several hundred dollars when we have bills to pay.

You need to contact me. I don’t know if you are a subscriber to my newsletter, but I am looking for moderators for my newly remodeled online training site.
Believe me, I understand how hard it is to get used to new schedules. Hubby has been on these 24’s for a year now and it still messes me up when he is home for 4 days. I end up goofing off and doing whatever we want. lol BUT, i guess that is also the beauty of it all. I honestly have it all and yes, it’s hard to deal with, but so many women would kill for it!
Hit me anytime you need to with an email. I’ll get you hooked up with my IM if you want. Us civil service wife’s have to stick together cause no one else understands. I’ve thought about starting a blog a million times. HMM, possible joint venture? We could hit both cops and fire at the same time, not a usual combo!!! I can already invision a creative header! ROFLMAO

I don’t get your newsletter, no, but it may well be time to sign up.
Oh, fire dept. I don’t envy you. One of the other cops we know his wife’s sister is married into the fire dept. It’s got to be crazy. I hear about the 24s and am thankful we don’t really have to deal with those on a regular basis. Every once in a while when there were parades if hubbie was on nights he’d wind up at work almost 24 hours.
Might be an interesting blog. I hadn’t actually thought about that, but you have me intrigued by the idea. There are tons of military blogs out there, but I haven’t come across anything for the civil “defense” side.

24’s were very difficult to get used to since we’d rarely been apart. But now those are the day/night that I get so much stuff done online. lol His being gone for academy helped me get used to the sleeping alone. That was and still is the hardest to et used tol
