Weight Loss
March 28th, 2008So, is Hydroxycut what I think it is? Some kind of weight loss mechanism.
How reliable are these sorts of things? Hoodia was fairly decent for a while, but I kept forgetting to take it.
Of course the way our finances are going we’ll probably be living on ramen and things for a while, so that’ll help with weight loss…ah, the joys of being poor, but we have a roof over our heads, and we do have food on the table, that’s the main thing.
Diet in moderation and exercise is probably still going to be the best way to go, right?

Honestly — I wouldn’t rely too much on the diet pills. I’ve tried them in the past and I saw no changes what so ever.
I think the whole thing is mind over matter. If you want to lose weight and you really give it a shot, you can.
I completely believe that eating in moderation & eating healthy, along with a fair amount of exercise is the best way to go! Just by eating better foods, going walking a few times a week, and avoiding the temptation of junk food — I’ve dropped a little over 30 pounds since New Year’s!

That’s pretty much the way I was thinking. We’re going to be getting a weight lifting bench from my Mum’s friend which will be good, and I’ve been taking my son out for walks around the neighborhood and trying to teach him to catch and play soccer, plus yesterday we dug a fire pit in our back yard and rearranged flagstones, so finishing up that will be good exercise too.
Congratulations on your weight loss! That’s great.
We’ve made a pact in our house to not order pizza as much any more, with people coming by and the fact it was the only real delivery food in our area we were ordering it at least twice a week and that’s NOT good at all. Hopefully we can stick with that.
