Self Portrait Sunday
March 23rd, 2008Happy Easter.
This was taken this morning while I was making wontons for our Easter dinner at my FILs. The munchkin saw me get the camera out and asked to be picked up. So, here we go. This is my first Self Portrait Sunday on this blog for a while because I was using my now defunkt photo blog for them.
Anyway, it’s been a pretty busy day so I wouldn’t be surprised if things are slow on this week’s entry but I’m going to stop by and check them out.

He’s recovering from roseola so he’s a bit groggy, grouchy and clingy most of the time. He’s been a lot perkier today so hopefully by tomorrow he’ll be fine.
It takes a bit of work but it’s fairly simple. I use Special Effects hair color. It’s pretty simple to get the first/base color in which in my case is the pink. I bleached my hair first, because I had dregs of other colors in it…and then dyed it pink, which just involves slathering the pink all over my hair and letting it sit for 20-40 minutes.
The blue was harder. That I flat-ironed, well, I got my Mum to help me flat-iron it in because I was afraid to dye it over because it would be really easy to just get ALL over when rinsing it out and would probably go purple. Plus when you flat-iron the color stays brighter longer. You can see at the bottom the pink is fading out to a sort or rosey orange, when I first dyed it that was NEON pink.

Hubbie ate most of the leftovers the first night and then the munchkin and I polished them off for breakfast the next day.
