Who knew a pen could cause so much of a problem? My husband has a particular one of those Papermate pens that he uses for work. He jokingly calls it his comfort pen because he would always have to have it with him for writing tickets and taking notes on the job.
A few days ago I was emptying out the dryer and putting laundry away when I found three pieces of the comfort pen, and there were still some missing. The barrel had broken in half and I had the ink well, the top of the barrel and the nib. There was no way it was going back together. So the search is on for a new comfort pen.
Apparently he found one in the back of the squad car last night, but now it’s gone missing too. It seems we have an ink thief in the house!
