Our house is a haven of sickness at the moment. It’s actually easing up a bit more right now, the munchkin is pretty much over his croup. My cold is almost done. Hubbie’s the only one who is really in the red, so to speak, because we’re still waiting for his surgery to be scheduled. He’s not so bad for the most part as long as we keep ourselves stocked up with medical supplies such as peroxide, salt and water, NyQuil and chloraseptic spray, but every once in a while his throat flares up and make it difficult for him to breathe. His general feeling of ill health means that he’s more susceptible to contracting other things too, so the fact that the house has been full of the red death hasn’t been easy on him. Especially as I was not up to much today and hubbie was trying to take care of the munchkin for me as well as sleep a bit.

It’s not much fun here. Tomorrow we’re going to be out of the house for a while going to the Cheesecake Factory with my mother, so hopefully hubbie can catch up on some sleep.
