I thought I got a good deal on my computer desk. It’s survived a while and it did look nice, but it’s been rickety since before we moved. It came apart while we were moving and it took me a while to get it to go back together. A week ago I had to put the backboard back in as it was coming apart again, well today…

No way to fix it. Most of the rods which hold it in have broken through the plywood. Well, actually looking at it really it’s probably pressed cardboard, and if we glue everything in place it’s going to be really flimsy and probably come apart the first time someone leans on it so we’ve opted to get another desk.

But the desk was $40 and on sale, and a 5% discount because of the small business thing, so when replacing it definitely going for something not just because it’s OMGCHEAP because cheap can mean CHEAP.
