Munchkin

We have good news regarding the munchkin though.
Yesterday was his out-patient check-up and he doesn’t have to go back for any more check-ups about this unless we discover he’s having a problem.
There’s no thickening of the wound area, and it’s healed over very well. We just have to keep doing massage of the area every day and putting lotion on, we no longer have to use the neosporin.
He’s cleared to go swimming, and do anything he wants (within reason).
They gave him a little plastic penguin for being so good.
According to their files this treatment and the treatment from the hospital *is* being covered by Medicaid. I sincerely hope that’s right.
So far Tuesday is going fairly well. There’s some things, as there always are, like I’m stumped once again by Skeet’s Tuesday Teaser these things are so hard!
But I’ve got some Betty Crocker Warm Delights that Kat recommended. I picked them up yesterday and they ARE good. Yesterday I tried the Chocolate Raspberry flavor and I was very surprised; raspberry is a bit hit and miss with me, but it was good. I’m going to try and save the regular lava cake for a while given it’s hubbie’s birthday “do” Wednesday and there will be ice cream cake…

That is so fantastic, he has done so well through the entire ordeal! I’m sure that’s a huge relief to you not to have to take him to anymore checkups and that the medicaid should take care of the bills.
Yes, we’re very grateful. I got the letter today saying that Medicaid is denying us because I didn’t file the appeal on time BUT the coverage doesn’t expire until October. So, the hospital treatment will be covered and we have KidCare starting in October, so he has insurance for regular check-ups.
Glad you liked them! They’re kinda weird though huh? Add water, microwave, and bam, you have cake…LOL
It is a little strange, but it was very easy to do that’s for sure. I was just complaining to my Mum yesterday about the brownies they have were all you have to do is thaw it and put it in the oven, that takes the fun out of the baking part, but at least I feel like I’m doing something making these, LOL.
Which reminds me I still have the lava cake ones and I’m a bit peckish I will go put them in.
