Unfortunately, things like that are can just happen no matter how hard you try to prevent them. Kids are into everything and you just can't stay glued to them every second. I'm so very sorry, love!!! When I first saw Munchkin's picture, I gasped because he looks so cute and so much older!!! And then I noticed the bandages, and I began to cry as I started reading your post! My two biggest fears with my kiddos is burns and kidnapping - why those two, I don't know, but, they scare me to death!!! Then as I continued to read, it reminded me so much of the time Sammie was hospitalized with a crushed finger and needed reconstructive surgery and she and I spent the night. And the utter horribleness that I felt - and hearing in your words that you felt that, too, just made me absolutely ACHE for you! (And now this comment is making me cry all over again!) Anyway, I am so very glad to hear that he is such a good little healer and has a good pain threshold and is starting to tear the house up again!!!
