Your mother sounds like a wonder-women. I work with at risk teens at my church and many of them are having their first Mother's Day. Some are single like your Mom was and living back at home. I always find that it is when you become a mother yourself that something "clicks" and you put your own Mom into perspecive. Sounds like your Mom did a great job.
