As You Like It (or don’t)

April 12th, 2007

I’ve been feeling better overall lately, which is good in some ways. My drive to actually do things other than stare at a computer screen when I’m not chasing after the munchkin has returned. I’m actually re-arranging and throwing unnecessary things out at home.
I just wish things wouldn’t keep popping up to try and suck away all the money we have just as we actually start having it again. Last time it was my husband’s car which we still have replaced, even though my own vehicle is getting worn out a lot faster now that it’s going backwards and forwards to his department every day instead of just every once in a while up to the grocery store or to friends houses.
Now our lovely new insurance is giving us grief about a bill. I’m going to have to call them and possibly yell at someone because they’re saying that our local hospital is not ‘in network’ which just confuses me. When I was working, I had the same company for insurance and I was going to be covered (somewhat) to have my baby at that hospital, so why, now, is it no longer covered? Were we supposed to go all the way to the next city to get the treatment that we needed? It makes no sense to me at all.
