Considering we’re debating our house options now that it looks as though we may be staying in our area, rather than moving further afield thanks to the city my husband’s PD is in growing and expanding instead of stagnating. I’m starting to do more prepping and planning. This is one thing I’m good at because I obsess over details and compare and contrast things (sometimes to death) but it’s helpful in understanding what our options are so that we don’t screw up and get ourselves in over our collective heads.

Sometimes I catch myself looking further afield just so I can remind myself how things are elsewhere for a better idea. Like when we were whining about the gas prices I good look on LJ at my friends in California, or ask our relatives in England how much petrol was for them and suddenly our gas prices didn’t seem so bad. We’re not going to talk about our friends in Georgia though!
