Now I have the cold…

March 13th, 2007

Yuck, but hopefully it won’t turn into bronchitis like my husband wound up with. The munchkin is thankful bug-free now, and is going to bed without fuss again (touch wood).
We’ve had a few slow recuperative days, and tomorrow may start looking for another car. I’m checking a few places online now to see what sort of prospects we have before we start driving around instead.
We shall see how things go.
It seems like only a few minutes ago I put him to bed, and now it’s almost 10 p.m. where does the time go?

Into the computer, usually I guess.
I’ve been working on something for a web design client and it’s driving me a little crazy. I’m still not familiar enough with .php to be uber-comfortable as I am with .html and this has proven to be an undoing, given my perfectionist nature. Hopefully in the morning I’ll find out that the gallery I’ve been working on is showing up on other computers than just my own. Hopefully.

In a random note is it sad how loved a twinkling noise from a phone and a text message arriving can make you feel? Am I alone in this feeling? How I’ve missed text messages! So, yes the new phone arrived, and as promised it can send and receive international text messages (and domestic ones as well) but the international ones is what clinched it for me. They’re very handy for the overseas relatives to get in touch if they’re worried about time changes and clock changes and the fact that my husband works nights and they might wake him up…so this is a very good thing for us to have, add to that the fact I can link it to PayPal and see if a client has paid me and potentially do a reading while I’m killing time at a doctor’s or waiting for someone at the mall or something or get important calls from the home phone transferred there if I’m out with the munchkin and hubbie’s at home sleeping and not needing to be disturbed by someone going, “Do you take credit cards? Do you want a credit card machine? We’re only going to take 30% off the top…” or some oher ridiculous thing.
