We have begun the move into our new apartment. I thought I would send this out now, because we will not be able to have internet/phone at the apartment until 12/27 due to the holiday and everyone being booked up solid at Sprint.

It’s a first floor corner unit, with a patio, which opens out onto the area where people store their RVs and things. It looks as though our across the ‘corridor’ neighbors have a young child, but we haven’t met anyone yet, other than John and Tammy, (John works at the PD with Danny, so he’s the reason we knew about the place).

Anyway, I’m sure it’s going to be a very hectic time over the next few weeks. So I will wish everyone a very Merry Holiday, and all the best.

We’re still living with my in-law’s for right now, but we’re on a wait list to get into an apartment complex which said we should be moved in by January, so that’s something. We keep hoping we’ll get a call sooner, but it’s not looking like it’s going to a happen. The complex gave us a discount on the application fee/deposit because D is a police officer, so that was a nice suprise. (more…)
